چکیده

The low carbon transition requires the high growth of renewable generation penetration in energy systems to ultimately achieve net-zero target. To ensure reliable operation with intermittent output, it is critical have sufficient flexible resources avoid curtailment. Therefore, integrated power-natural gas-heating power gas (P2G) and storage has attracted great research interest especially on combined method enhance flexibility provision between each other. In this paper, taking heating demand, P2G into consideration, a multi-objective optimal strategy presented obtain maximum economic environmental benefits. Furthermore, novel model metric proposed based redundant linepack storage. Case studies without are carried out IEEE 39-bus Belgian 20-node system. Simulation results demonstrate that not only can be beneficial for terms total operational cost decline from M$2.510 M$2.503, CO2 emission reduction 62,860 ton 62,240 wind curtailment decrease 25.58% 4.22% but also significant effect improvement 71.72% increase.

Two-Stage Stochastic Day-Ahead Market Clearing in Gas and Power Networks Integrated with Wind Energy

The significant penetration rate of wind turbines in power systems made some challenges in the operation of the systems such as large-scale power fluctuations induced by wind farms. Gas-fired plants with fast starting ability and high ramping can better handle natural uncertainties of wind power compared to other traditional plants. Therefore, the integration of electrical and natural gas syste...
